This 3oz Streetwise "Flip Top" model pepper spray is designed to be fired quickly by police and other law enforcement agencies. To fire it, simply slide you thumb under the spring loaded safety cap and press down. The safety cap prevents accidental discharge. Although designed for law enforcement, we also sell it to other individuals. A holster is available for this model (purchased separately see item HOL3).

Pepper spray, also known as OC spray (from "Oleoresin Capsicum"), OC gas, and capsicum spray, is a non-lethal chemical compound. A one second burst of pepper spray to the face will cause temporary blindness, difficulty breathing, choking, coughing, and nausea-bringing the attacker to his knees. It can used in riot control, crowd control, and personal self-defense, including defense against dogs and bears. The duration of its effects depend on the strength of the spray but the average full effect lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, with diminished effects lasting for hours. All of our pepper sprays are two million Scoville Heat Units ( S.H.U), which is the highest available. At 17% and two million S.H.U., our Street Wise pepper spray is the hottest, most powerful in the world. The potency of this spray enables it to bring down even the most aggressive assailants.
